Kings forfeit to Young Guns

Friday March 23, 2012 – Pilgrim Arena Hingham

Ed couldn’t make it out to the game at the last minute, and without any substitute goalies in sight, the Kings took a 1-0 forfeit loss on the game. Final game before the playoffs is next Thursday at 9pm in Brockton vs. the Icebergs, see you then.

Hey guys,

So sorry that I could not make it out last night. Kailah slipped in our kitchen and caught her eye on the corner of a chair on the way down. It looked pretty bad so we took her to the emergency room. She ended up getting two stitches in her eyelid, but luckily there was no damage to the eye itself. She was totally fine today.

I am bummed because I was psyched for the rematch, but even more so because I cost all of you and the Guns a game.

I wasn’t there so there won’t be any complaining from me! Just kidding of course, obviously you made the only choice there was to make. I’m glad to hear everything is ok with the eye. Amazing how tough those little creatures actually are.

In for Thursday, see you guys then.

Glad that Kailah was ok. It was a bummer, but we all understood the circumstances. It was also a series of bad luck because there was a kids team playing before us. If there was a men’s team we may have been ok. At least your GAA goes down.

Bryan-Anarchy has played 24 games? Make sure Laubencrank fixes b/c it will effect the standings.

Looks like it’s a snafu with Pointstreak – if you look at Anarchy’s schedule they had one win that was reported twice. Anyway I told Laubenstein about it, he’ll probably fix it. Good catch.
