Kings won all three periods against Barrett’s Ale House Thursday night in Canton to sweep the season series with five wins. The final score was 8-2.
Burger, J-Rod, and Bob all had a pair of goals, and just about every King found his way onto the score sheet. Highlights included Burger’s first goal on a great snap shot from the high slot and J-Rod’s second goal where he crossed the offensive zone skating backwards and fired a low hard shot past the unsuspecting goalie. JohnH and Josh both returned to the line-up after an extended absence and didn’t look like they missed much action. In fact, both netted goals in the first period. Greg was strong in net and the defense was stout all night.
Next week’s game is on Thursday night at 9:20 in Canton. We’re playing Everett’s Auto Parts and we tied these guys last game. Let’s make sure we have a full line-up to try to grab the win this time around. Who is IN?
