Fran shot me a note last night that he’s having surgery today to repair the herniated disc in his back. No timetable for his return. Please join me in wishing Fran a speedy recovery and that he’s back out on the ice soon. Best of luck Fran!

Good luck on a healthy and speedy recovery. The Kings TV ratings has dropped in a big way, since you went on the injured reserve list! We await your return, which the Kings desperately need.

Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement. The surgery went very well. I have all the feeling back in my leg. Home recovering right now. It’s obviously a little early to say right now but I suspect it will be at least 6 months before I can play again. Nevertheless, I’ll try to get out to see you guys at the August 3rd game versus Check Republic.
