Tuesday June 15, 2010 – Canton Sportsplex

The Kings offense sputtered again, managing only one goal against Dr. McGillicuddy’s in Canton last night. Ed turned in a great performance, stopping a ton of point blank chances, holding the opposition to a single goal for most of the game. After an early score by McGillicuddy’s, the Kings tied it up when Paul fed a pass from the right corner to Greg on the crease, who chipped it in glove side to tie the score at 1. The Kings managed a few more decent chances, including a nice one-timer by Burger that beat the goalie but bounced off the post, and another one-timer by Ian that went just wide, but couldn’t put the puck in the net. McGillicuddy’s scored twice more, icing the victory with a late score with just under three minutes left.
