Kings beat Gophers 9-1, keep postseason alive

Friday April 9, 2010 – Canton Sportsplex

The Kings exploded for nine goals and eliminated the Gophers from the postseason, keeping their own playoff hopes alive in the process. Ian had a hat trick and Paul and Burger both had 3-point nights, as the Kings kept the puck in the offensive zone for most of the night. Every game is a potential elimination game for the rest of the postseason, and the next game is against the winner of the Digitas/Brown Club matchup that was scheduled for after our game at Canton but appears to have been moved.

Next must win game is Tuesday April 20th 7:00 pm at Canton. Please plan accordingly. Don’t be late. Traffic is not an excuse.

Plan on playing Wednesday and Friday this week as well.
