Kings defeat Maple Leafs 6-1

Thursday November 19, 2009 – Canton Sportsplex

The Kings toppled the previously undefeated Maple Leafs with a decisive 6-1 effort. After the first shot for the Leafs found its way through, Ed closed down the net for the night with some help from the defense, which did a great job pushing the fast breaks to the outside and keeping the scoring chances low. After a slow start the Kings offense took over, lead by John who posted two goals and two assists, running his team lead to 4-4-8 in just 3 games. Bermy also had a pair of goals and an assist for a 3 point night. Stats will be updated a little later today.

That’s what I like to see, the Kings responding to cheap shots with scoring goals. Great win. Not sure if I can make the game on Tuesday.

Bryan,

The recent standings do not have one of our wins. They show us at 3-2-1 for 7 points. We should show 4-2-1 for 9 points. Paul L. is missing our 6-1 win over the Maple Leafs.

Thanks and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
