Tuesday October 13, 2009 – Canton Sportsplex

The offense was stymied again and the Pirates dropped the Kings 3-2 on Tuesday. Alan made an immediate impact on his return, banking the puck off a defender’s skate into the net in his first shift and Bob had a nice slapper from the left point that went top-shelf on the goalie, but that was all the offense the Kings could muster. Despite the score the Kings controlled play for most of the game and had good jump, but the Pirates played solid defense in the slot and prevented a number of good Kings chances, en route to scoring 3 unanswered goals for the win.
