Kings lose to Rush 3-6

Thursday August 6, 2009 – Quincy Youth Arena

The Kings’ 5-game unbeaten streak came to an end last night as Rush got the drop on us early, opening a 3-0 lead before the Kings even got on the board. #7 for Rush took care of most of their goal scoring, waltzing through 3 or 4 defenders at a time. Not much puck luck for the Kings as errant passes and loose pucks always seemed to end up on the opponents’ sticks. Goals by Ian and Fran got the Kings within two goals, but that would be as close as it got – Bob added another midway through the 3rd.
