Sunday July 26, 2009 – Quincy Youth Arena
Anarchy quickly erased a two goal Kings lead in the third to salvage a 4-4 tie last night in Quincy. Pete got the scoring started with another shorthanded goal, but right off the ensuing faceoff Anarchy tied it up. Both teams played pretty solidly with Anarchy using their deep bench against the Kings two lines. Anarchy got a little puck luck to take the lead, putting the puck behind Ed as he was covering it, but not long after Jeff marched through the offensive zone with a defender on top of him and got his own rebound to tie the score. The Kings would get another pair, with Ian scooping up the loose change behind the goalie and Fran with a nice shot from the high slot, but just a few minutes later Anarchy erased the lead in just about a minute’s time. The teams traded some good scoring chances in the closing minutes, including Burger just missing the far corner when the Anarchy goalie made a lunging toe save, but the Kings couldn’t muster the game winner and settled for the tie.

I hope you have a speedy recovery. We need you on D! I thought that lifting heavy objects was excluded in your contract.

We’re down some heavy hitters on the beer front without Bermy and Greg. Who is going to step up?

I got a 12 pack of Harpoon summer chilling in my fridge as we speak. Someone can bring another 6 and we’re probably in good shape.

Hey Josh – Dunno about how long construction will last, but it’s a giant headache and you wouldn’t have been the only late King. Kings win 3-1.
Anyone seen Alan?

traffic is ridiculous. I actually went down dorchester ave and jumped on 28 south to 138. Needed GPS to navigate the whole excursion. We started a man down because Ed got caught in it to. In the future everyone should expect the worst for going to Canton and make plans accordingly.
