Tuesday June 23, 2009 – Canton Sportsplex
The Kings turned in a solid team effort and Ed was near-perfect in a 6-1 win over KPMG on Tuesday. John scored two goals, including one off a beautiful feed from Paul that he roofed short side. Greg assisted on 4 of the Kings’ 6 goals (especially impressive as he was back on defense), highlighting a solid passing game all around. The Kings had a 4-0 lead and looked to be solidly in control before KPMG got on the board with a long range slapshot for the only shot Ed didn’t turn aside. Overall a solid team effort in all zones – the only downside was Paul left the game after a neck strain after taking a spill in the offensive zone.
