Kings close out regular season with win over Icemen

Thursday March 19, 2009 – Dedham Ice Arena

With only 8 skaters the Kings moved to 3-0 in the new jerseys, scoring nine times in a 9-4 win over the Icemen to close out the regular season. Bermy and Fran lead the scoring and the Kings played a solid game in all zones with some great passing and defense. After spotting the Icemen an early 1-0 lead, the Kings rallied for 7 goals, 5 in the 2nd frame alone, before the Icemen were able to get past Ed again. Rodriguez was the story for the Icemen, scoring 3 of their 4 goals.

The postseason begins the week of April 5th – see you then.

Great three period effort last night. Everyone found their way onto the score sheet. Kings looking good in those white jerseys. Who knows when we’ll play again, but hopefully we can carry some of this momentum into the playoffs.

Does anyone know of any pick up hockey over the next few weeks?

Thanks,
