Frankly, I’m a little disappointed that our goalie and MIT alumnus Ed Solovey didn’t come up with something like this.

While that is an interesting development in goalie pad technology, only a matter of time until these are outlawed and the rule book catches up.

If I designed one of these for our league I would have painted the back of the boards on it because that’s where most people tend to shoot.
If I designed it while I was still at MIT I would have made it produce an electromagnetic field that would result in the puck disappearing and reappearing in the opponent’s net.
