Kings drop 6-3 decision to Ironworkers

Sunday November 23, 2008 – Dedham Ice Arena

Despite a strong start, penalties and poor hockey cost the Kings a 2-1 lead and eventually the game against a very beatable Ironworkers squad. The Kings were rolling off the first faceoff, controlling the puck and the play and reducing the opponent to squabbling with each other. Josh scored a beauty of a goal, standing inside the left faceoff dot and one-timing a great pass from Jeff from the right half wall. However the scales tipped their way in the second, and the Ironworkers knotted the game at 2. After a quick pair of goals made it 3-3, penalties and brain cramps cost the Kings as the Ironworkers took a 5-3 lead on some serious defensive lapses. They scored an empty net goal for the final score.

Hey Bryan – I’m right in the middle of finals and not sure if I can make the game tonight.

Bryan,

I have more bad news! Or maybe its good the way I’ve been playing. I have to take clients to the airport and then pick my family up at the airport.
