I do not remember the exact final score, but it was something like 8-3 or 9-3.  John led the way with 3 or 4 goals but the key was every line contributed.  Ed mad some saves, including stopping a 3-0 breakaway on a Kings power play, but in general was not tested often.  The game was fairly well played and well officiated, but play got chipy near the end of the second period.  Bryan and Bermy both fought the biggest guy on other team.  Nice to get back into the win column.

There have not been many wins to celebrate this season, but the Kings BBQed the hell out of everything in the parking lot afterwards. Luckily, the weather cooperated.  The cookout was well attended, with perhaps only Wally and Jeff missing.  I would like to thank each and every King for their contribution.  Bermy’s new grill is killer, so hopefully we’ll be able to get in another BBQ this summer.

Next game is tomorrow at 8:50 P.M. in the City of Champions against the DRL Dawgs.
