Kings Fall to Hackers / BBQ after game on Thursday!
A short handed Kings squad fell to the Hackers at Walter Brown on Thursday evening (either 2-5 or 2-6). Ed was back in goal, and made some huge saves to keep the Kings in the game, but again the lack of finishing touch doomed the Kings. I believe that the Kings were winning 2-1 halfway through the second period, but ran out of gas, surrendered the lead, and fell apart late in the third. Might have been a different score with a full Kings line-up, but such are the perils of summer hockey. Overall the effort was better but unfortunately the results were the same. Down but not out, the Kings continue to win fights every week. I believe that Dan and Burger (PP goal) netted the goals.
The Kings look to break their losing streak on Thursday night against Rush in Quincy at 6:40. I have no idea how they are this summer, but Rush have given the Kings good games in the past.  Please post if you are unable to make the early start time.
Bermy said he would bring the grill for a BBQ after the game (weather permitting). Please post what contributions, if any, you can make to the party.
