Thursday February 14, 2008 – Bavis Arena
Josh had five goals (and one assist) and John had five points to lead the Kings in a shooting clinic against the Brawlers last night. After trading scores on the first shift, the Kings mostly controlled play throughout the game, moving the puck around the offensive zone and generating tons of shots on the Brawlers’ backup goaltender. The Brawlers weren’t able to generate much offense but Ed stopped most of it, including stuffing the Brawlers’ speedy winger on the far post.
Frank reports the late game was a 4-2 win for Rogue Squadron.

Thanks for point out my spectacular assist.
I wouldn’t want anyone thinking I was a puck hog.

change Josh’s number to #99…the Great One. good game by all. 2-0-1 against the top teams show that the Kings are BACK! Good drinking too at the end of the game(s).

I want to know why Burger tries harder in the second game then ours! Again, great game especially to the “J” line. Reminded me of the old Neely, Janney and I think Joe Juneau line.

Excellent effort at both ends of the ice for the Kings. Going to be tough to beat us with that type of effect and finishing touch.
And another impressive display of Kings drinking during and after the second game.
Wasn’t Adam Oats involved in that top line?
Can’t make it to the game on Tuesday.

Kings managment holds back my talents. Similar to what the B’s did to Thorton. When unleashed my powers are unlimted….well sort of…also I had to show the other team that the Kings have studs on the team. ALthough I did highlight Kings weak spots when I played versus other Kings in the 2nd game. Namely stickhandling around flat footed Ian and rolling over Frank along the boards.

Burger was under the influence of multiple performance enhancing energy drinks and his second game point production should be stricken from the record.
