Kings beat Icemen 8-3

Tuesday January 15, 2008 – Walter Brown Arena

The Kings avenged their 3-1 loss to the Icemen last week with a dominant win last night. Bermy and Mike both had hat tricks and Frank had three helpers as the Kings offense awoke. After a fluke goal on the first shift the Icemen wouldn’t score again until late in the third period, until then it was all Kings. The Icemen goalie, who was almost unbeatable last week looked more human as the Kings started breaking through with shots from all over the ice, meanwhile playing good team defense and killing off a couple penalties.

Great win Kings! We skate and finish like that and we can beat almost anybody.
And while the refs are usually stingy with assists, I think some of those 3 assists I got belong to other Kings. You know who you are.
