Kings drop 5-2 decision to Pirates

Tuesday November 13, 2007 – Canton Sportsplex

The Kings were missing most of their defensive corps, being forced to play 3-D with Josh getting the call at the blueline for most of the game, and it wasn’t enough to stop the Pirates’ offense. After putting up two unanswered goals, the Pirates broke through in the third, scoring 4 goals in just a few minutes to power them to the win.

We can beat The Pirates if we have most of our team. Our next game is 11/27 @ 8:50PM @ Milton Academy. We need to win the next game in order to set up the third game in a row with the Pirates as the grudge match.

Another comment is that both Ed in nets, and Josh on D, played a great game.

Sorry to hear about the loss.
I won’t be able to make the game on the 27th either. Good news is that my tentative schedule for the Spring semester does not include evening classes on Tuesdays.

With four of our regular defense and all of our scorers and playmakers, we could beat those guys. But we can’t play 3 defensemen (one of whom being a top scorer) for three periods against those guys. Hopefully we’ll have Bermy, Bob and Ian all back next week so the forwards can get back to playing their game.

I also hope Ed remembers his pants along with the rest of his equipment

Thanks, Jeff. After checking at a few houses of ill repute, I have found my pants. I’ll be donning them next week and Paul will actually get to wear his own.
