Kings beat Judges 8-2

Tuesday October 30, 2007 – Pilgrim Arena

The Kings offense awoke in Hingham last night, scoring two goals in the first minute to set the pace to an 8-2 victory over the Judges. Paul started it off, taking the puck off the opening faceoff and splitting defenders for the opening strike, and then scoring another on a wraparound before his shift ended. John and Jeff also had 2 goals apiece. The game could’ve easily been 10- or 12-2 were it not for the Judges goalie robbing Greg, Bermy and Mike on several occasions.

did my goal and assist get sucked up in a blackhole? this won’t help my FA status according to Scott Boras

Burger,

Relax as you got the game-winning third goal. Additionally, you were +5 for the night. Both of my goals were assisted by Frank, but I am sure that Frank would include you in the assist column as well. Great night!

Sorry for screwing up the stats, a lot of the numbers on the scoresheet are written over. Burger which goal did you have?

The score keeper didn’t really seem to know how to work the clock, and the refs didn’t seem to agree much either. But I know I didn’t score so Burger can have that one.
Good game men, nice to start a new winning streak.

I like my name in lights when I score. It’s usually a rare celebration!

Bryan,

I just checked the NESHL website standings as of 11/4/07 and they do not have our win from last week. They show us as 0 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie for 1point. We should be 1-2-1 for 3 points which would vault us to 3rd place! Amazing what a win does for power rankings.

Thanks,
Jeff
