Kings beat Icebergs 5-2

Wednesday April 10, 2007 – Pilgrim Arena, Hingham

Powered by a sudden 3 goal outburst in the 2nd and some solid offensive play, the Kings upended the Icebergs 5-2 to stay alive in the hunt to repeat as division champs. After playing most of the 1st period scoreless in an evenly matched battle, the second opened up the scoring with 3 more unanswered goals in just a few minutes to put the Icebergs back on their heels for the rest of the period. Ed made some key saves throughout to keep the game largely out of reach, and Ian sealed the victory with an empty netter from the defensive zone with just a few seconds to play.

Nice job guys. Sorry I haven’t made the games. Between my suspension, vacation and my job slowly killing me I haven’t been able to make it. Thursday I will be there, they will have to fire me to get me to not play. I will try and not insult the refs as well.
